Car Hire

We organise car hire for most of our guests and many people who are not even staying with us. Over the last few years we have developed a very good working relationship with the local office of the national car hire companies, First Car rental, which gives us far and away the best discounts from normal published rates that we have been able to obtain from any of the big car hire companies, and they are providing us with a really excellent and reliable service for our guests.

Cars can be collected on arrival at Cape Town airport or we can arrange to transfer you from the airport and have you delivered safely to Noordhoek. We use a very reliable transfer service within our village which provides a "meet and greet" service and the 40kms transfer at a much lower cost than the usual airport transfers and then can have the cars delivered here shortly after the guests have settled in and then at the end of the rental period you can drop the car off at the airport in the usual way. This avoids much of the hassle of queuing at the airport to organize the car, often after an all-night flight, but do bear in mind there are charges involved (the transfer would cost 300R for 2 people and luggage or 400R for four people and luggage and there is a delivery charge of 250R for the car) .

We can organize almost any type of vehicle from the usual, comfortable holiday runaround family saloons to the larger stationwagons, 4x4's and “status” cars. The rates we can offer vary according to the length of hire and usually include 100% Supercover insurance and unlimited kilometres, though it is possible to have a slightly lower daily rate if you accept a lower level of insurance cover and an excess of 4,000R or 7,000R in the event of you having to make a claim. Our rates are available to us right across the country so if you should be needing a vehicle in Johannesburg or Durban or in any of the other large centres, the same rates apply.
